Busy, Busy, Busy
Life for me, gets a little crazy starting around Halloween... that's because it's the start of the holiday whirlwind... with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year. But for this past year, it was more of a holiday hurricane. There were a lot changes in my life as well as my family's life. In mid October 2012, I've made a difficult decision to end my job after 7 years and start a new one with the UCD MIND Institute. With my new job, we also had to search for a daycare for Mia that fits our needs, wants, and schedules. Then the holidays rolled around, holiday parties, Christmas shopping, birthdays, and our spur of the moment trips to Disneyland and Vegas made our lives busy, busy, busy. It was even difficult to find time to spend with each other because there was always something that we had to do.
Now that the holidays are winding down... I wanted to update my blog and a little bit about my life and family. Mia is now 18.5 months old. She is getting smarter and smarter everyday. It amazes me and Reagan how much this little crazy girl knows. She's beginning to label things, she could identify most of her body parts, knows how to complete puzzles, likes to be chased and take baths, likes to sing songs, is a great helper at school, and even does pretend play. Just the other day, she got her stuffed hello kitty, grabbed one of her diapers, opened it up, and tried to put the diaper on. LOL! She cracks us up and we adore her to pieces!
Reagan and I try to make it a point to go on vacation at least once a year just to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate. With 2012 winding down and other financial reasons, we didn't get that opportunity... so at the very last minute we decided to do a couple getaways. We went to Disneyland and Vegas and Mia was such a good little girl!! She loved Disneyland and all the Vegas glitz and glamour!! These are just a few shots of Mia with her Godmother at Downtown Disney and our Disneyland Santa family picture. I have more Disneyland pictures but haven't gotten a chance to unload them from the card just yet.
We hoped everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Rockin' New Year!!
